Recently I’ve Had Severe Emotional Overreactions When Talking About Thing. My Doctor Told Me It’s A “non-motor Symptom” Of Parkinson’s.

A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭
Southport, NC

Whenever this happens, I become totally choked up and can hardly talk about it because I can’t stop crying! She told me that, unfortunately, she only treats “motor symptoms “ of Parkinson’s which doesn’t help me one bit. She suggested I look to the Internet to get help with it! I haven’t had much luck with that, though.
Does anyone else experience this same type of problem? If so, how do they deal with it?
Thanks, in advance, for any help they can provide!

I get choked up every time I try to sing. Especially in church, but also in car, around house, etc. It's odd. I didn't used to have this issue!

Eye Problems? I'm Having Trouble Keeping My Eyes Open.

A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭
Mesa, AZ

For some time, when I wake up in the morning I am unable to open my right eye. Now when I am awake my right eye is blurry. I am constantly blinking and sometimes my eyes close involuntarily especially when I am trying to concentrate. Is this a problem for anyone else? And have you been able to find relief?
