Eye Problems? I'm Having Trouble Keeping My Eyes Open.
For some time, when I wake up in the morning I am unable to open my right eye. Now when I am awake my right eye is blurry. I am constantly blinking and sometimes my eyes close involuntarily especially when I am trying to concentrate. Is this a problem for anyone else? And have you been able to find relief?

After every visit to my eye doctor he warns of dry eye from Parkinson's and gives me eye drops. He says I do not need to take this daily yet.
Dry Eye. Dry eyes are a consequence of decreased blinking and poor production of tears. Dry eye can be worsened by certain medications prescribed for Parkinson’s. Dry eye improves with liberal use of artificial tears and good eye/eyelid hygiene. Of note, dry eye doesn’t always feel dry! Sometimes it feels like watering, and other times it just feels like blurring or being out of focus.
I would check with your eye doctor.
Sometimes I have to open mine manually. Lol. Eye dr says use drops and try to blink more. Might also be a function of too much medication, sort of a dystonia kind of thing.
My eye specialist said I have dry eyes and he recommended eye drops which I now use.
I know someone who has this very badly. I will tell you this though I have spent 8 - 10hrs at a time with him. He never naps after AM med, nor noon, nor just after supper. Now this doesn't mean they have to be long. No 20 - 30min will do, set your cell.
My eye are like this too. Last year the eye dr told me that my right eye tremors and causes it to cross and see double. So my left eye closes trying to focus. Usualllyif both eyes are open 8 see 3 of everything. Nothing we can do! Living the dream!
