Does Anyone Have A Solution To Alleviate Excess Mucus In Your Throat?

My husband has been struggling with this, especially after meals and at night. He was diagnosed with PD in 2021. Has anyone found anything that helps with this issue? I bought an elevated wedge to put under his pillow, which helps somewhat.
