Has Anyone Ever Seen A REAL Argument On Here?

A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question πŸ’
Stoke-on-Trent, UK

You know the sort I mean...the ones that seem legion on the internet, where a dozen comments in, the actual topic is long since forgotten and it's just about labelling the other side as "something-phobic" or "something-ist" and wondering who is going to be first to mention North Korea, compare someone to Hitler or consign someone to hellfire or an asylum for the terminally woke?

In over five years I've never seen one here. I've even seen people _apologise_ and (Shock! Horror!) _admit they were… read more

Can't Tell With My Husband What Is Parkinson's, His Cranky Normal, His Drinking, What He Can Help Or Not Help. Hard To Show Patience.

A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

He's been officially dx'd for 2 yrs., but symptomatic for at least 7. He also retired 2 yrs ago then too. I was always afraid he would just sit around and do nothing when he retired. Now that it's here, I can put up with having to do all the work and his nastiness if it's from his disease, but how can I tell if it's from that or his laziness? I'm a patient person by nature, but this is getting really hard. Any helpful ideas?

Can A Person With PD Suddenly Not Be Able To Stand, Walk, Or Speak Clearly?

A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question πŸ’
Washingtonville, NY

I was told it could be a "flare", but the PD Foundation claims that "flares" are a myth. My Dad went through a hospitalization with CAT scan, EEG, MRI, LP to r/o encephalitis. They didn't find any brain diseases or vitamin deficiencies. The only thing I could think of was a TIA that didn't show up on the MRI. The sudden onset really has me puzzled. We had 4 neurologists look at Dad with very little info. to give us. Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance, Tedi
