Has Anyone Ever Seen A REAL Argument On Here?
You know the sort I mean...the ones that seem legion on the internet, where a dozen comments in, the actual topic is long since forgotten and it's just about labelling the other side as "something-phobic" or "something-ist" and wondering who is going to be first to mention North Korea, compare someone to Hitler or consign someone to hellfire or an asylum for the terminally woke?
In over five years I've never seen one here. I've even seen people _apologise_ and (Shock! Horror!) _admit they were… read more
Nigel, in all my years working with and conversing with people I learned staying away from topics that could start a very toxic environment are religion and politics.
Do I want controversy NOPE. JUST POLITE CONVERSATION. Carol
Nigel I think PD left us with to little energy to argue about sh*t
I dunno 🤔 sometimes a good ol spat can clear the air or straighten out some difficult or touchy issue. I call em animated discussions. Of course we debate as well, My husband calls me his little Yang. I think because of my neurological challenges (ðŸ¤) we have a level of trust that has been tested and found true and strong. Does that mean I don't go bat sh!t crazy sometimes and need a push, a pull, or even a good 'Sit down '. What we don't have is mistrust in motivation. We can (i can) fuss an scream and fight but it is never about lack of trust or love. Now will Parkinson's test that???oh I am sure Parkinson's tests EVERYTHING. So I write a letter to myself to see my own words in my own hand, how I really feel about my husband and family. I write how the love they show me makes me feel. I have been to the Neurological Circus complete with flying monkeys and I am determined to never go back.
I don't need to have arguments anywhere else, I get enough of it at home. I just want peace in my life!
