Orthostatic Hypotension: Big Problem. On The Highest Dose Of Droxi Dopa And Still A Problem. Anyone Else?
My Husband Had PD With Extreme Hypotension. How Are Others That Have This Problem Coping With It?
He takes 10 droxidopa, 3 midodrine and1 fludrocort a day to keep his pressure up but even with that if it is warm he is likely to pass out if he goes outside. He also passes out if we go out to dinner with friends and linger over the meal to chat. His normal blood pressure can drop about 60 points when he stands up.
Thanks you so much

Orthostatic Hypotension
I was wondering if anyone shares my situation.I like many of us have orthostatic hypotension- My BP can go from 140/90 to 60/40 in seconds and obviously i get dizzy sometimes blacking out and losing consciousness. Thank you! I didn’t know this was available. I will check into it for his meds.

What does this mean? Is this weight0 loss?
I have lost a good deal of weight (12 lbs) since I began taking this drug. I seem to lose a pound or two monthly.
Truthfully, I don’t feel much better from the drug. Also, I always had low blood pressure, and Northera was prescribed to raise my levels so that I… read more
