Hope that you are ok. I had my hanyman install safety bars all around my bathroom

No concussion or brain bleeding. Six staples in the cut. I am home waiting 24 hr to wash blood out of my hair. I'm fine.

I had staples in my thumb from a compressed air gun with a feather light trigger. Just below the nail. You could see the ends just poking through the other side. A mate pulled them out with pliers. 😖😖😖
