My mother who is 81 years has been taking Sinemet for approximately 3 months and is napping 85% during the day when sitting and states that she is tired most of the time. At night sometimes complaints about cramping in feet near toes. Any recommendations??? Are there any exercises that she can do?? She uses a cane and walker.

I had to get off the Sinimet because I had the same problem. I went months off all PD meds (not recommending) because the symptoms were less onerous than the drug effects. I am now on Amandine (1x3 times) and the symptoms are largely controlled with mild off times. I’m sure I will need to get back on the Sinimet at some point but fine just now..
