Has Anyone Used The Theracycle And Is There A Similar On Market But Cheaper
I have had a theracycle about 2 years. I feel that it is very helpful. I could reach the speed recommended from the studies but I could not maintain it for a long time on the bikes at the gym. After Back surgery in January I was unable to ride for about a month. When I started riding I could only last 15 min. During tat time I began to have tremors and wearing off pain. Doing much better now that I can ride for 40 min to an hour.
I purchased a spinning bike from Amazon I think it is similar to the theracycle l except it runs on pedal, powers instead of electricity. It is also way cheaper. As long as bi keep up a good pace, I get a good workout.
I have one and I use it every day for at least 30 minutes. I think a regular stationary bike might do as well.
My husband joined the local gym and uses their recumbent bikes. It had helped enormously! 10$ a month to join and it makes him get out into the public. His eyes are clearer and his tremors reduced when he goes daily.
I have not used one but have seen them advertised on Facebook. You might check on Craig's list.
