It sounds like you're dealing with a lot, and I'm sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing. Based on my knowledge base, the side effects of Carbidopa/Levodopa can include nausea, headaches, memory problems, and even gastrointestinal discomfort, which might explain some of your symptoms. Amantadine can also contribute to side effects like nausea and confusion. It's important to discuss these concerns with your neurologist, as they may adjust your medication or explore alternatives.

For finding a movement disorder specialist near Tamarac, Florida, you might consider reaching out to the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, as they have specialists in Parkinson's disease and movement disorders. Additionally, you can use resources like the Parkinson’s Foundation's "Find a Doctor" tool to locate a specialist nearby.

If your symptoms persist or worsen, please consult your doctor immediately to ensure your treatment plan is optimized for your needs.

I see Dr. Richard Dewey, part of Dr . Stuart Isaacson's group... the whole group are movement disorder specialists (in Boca)
I drive from West Palm Beach, depending on traffic 30-45 minutes

Taking your meds with food may help. My husband will eat something bland like crackers or fruit with his pills. There are also anti-nausea meds that may help.
