I don't think PD has an impact on a knee replacement that has already healed and you have good range of motion in the leg. My concern has been the ability to properly rehab a knee replacement with PD motion/strength limitations.

I'm 82 with PD for at least five years and severe spinal stenosis in the sacrum. I also had a total lumbar spine fusion in 2018 that limits my ability to bend. I had my right knee replaced in 2017 - it is a difficult rehab even without PD, so I have tried everything to avoid replacing my even worse left knee. However, the knee has gotten so bad I can hardly walk or stand, so I'm having total knee replacement surgery in two weeks on 1/10/25. I will report back how it goes.

Hi Barry! I had my left knee replaced, in 2016, & my right knee 2 years later. My second knee replacement was easier than my to first. You got this! Hugs, AnneKristine 🩷
