I'm allergic to gabepentin. I was taking Buspirone for anxiety but o recently stopped that. I would take it when I was in an "off" period thinking it would help my aniexty. I realized that it was making my symptoms worse. My pcp doesn't know what to put me on for anxiety and my neurologist didn't say shit except to contact my pcp.

Skpatterson, I take Escitalopram 20 mg. It is for anxiety. I also take Gabapentin 100 mg to help me sleep at night. I wake up in the mornings just fine not drugged are sluggish.

Swell. Trentellix produces serotonin in the brain (Feel free to search Serotonin Syndrome. The article from the Cleveland Clinic was very helpful in preventing me from reaching a TOXIC level of serotonin...Death) And Gabapentin put me in the hospital for a week of testing (Allergic!!). It caused me to lose 3 jobs in rapid succession and cost me my short-term-memory. That was back in 2001 and , yep, it appears to be a permanent reaction. Well, thanks for the info. Guess I'll keep looking. 😰
