Some information says it is only necessary to get a shingles vaccine once. Other information I have read says the vaccine provides protection from shingles for at least six years. Yet one more good example of getting conflicting information that is important to our health. I got the vaccine 6 years ago, so I will rely upon my Primary to let me know if I need to get vaccinated again. I did not have any adverse reactions to the vaccine. I think any of us that had chickenpox as a child are foolish not to get the vaccine.

Hi ! Guess what ? My flu shot I received Aug. 15 has given me pain. So, I contacted Minuet Clinic from my CVS drug store. They said contact your orthopedic Dr. S I contacted him, he said to me. that I am not the only one who has this problem. He said he has seen many people react to the flu shot. Then he gave me a different shot and a prescription for gel outside the skin. Another problem for Parkinson's patients. Oh well, bear up and take your knocks . I am trying to take the positive. but gosh at times it is hard.
