Do not want to do DBS. Any new drugs that have worked for you. I also take Rytary for my PD.
My husband takes Carbidopa. His tremors have stopped completely. His illness fluctuates so much. He was almost bedridden two months ago. I was searching for a nursing home I could afford. Then all the symptoms went away. He is walking, talking, feeding himself, dressing himself. All I do is manage his meds, wash his clothes, and make his meals. It’s like he has no disease at all. Too strange.
70% of people with PD have a resting tremor. The other 30% don’t have a resting tremor, your tremor is an essential tremor, that doesn’t necessarily mean you don’t have PD. I only have a resting tremor when I’m under stress.
Most of my symptoms are non-motor symptoms.
