Im on a medicine called Rivastigmine,6 mg i at night. It is used to treat dementia in Parkinsons. They have found it also helps nightmares. So far it has.

Dr. Just put my husband on Ambien. The reason being that nightmares are caused by REM sleep and thats what Ambien controls.
