With Parkinson's, Have Any Of You Experienced Skin Cancer?
When my doctor diagnosed me with PD you told me to watch out for skin cancer. He said I had three things working against me. First living in Arizona. Second not have any hair to protect my head. And last never wearing hats.
Have you had any skin cancer issues that might be related to having Parkinson's?

Yes wot Kev says is always right, nearly . I believe in the coronation too. I am due surgery to remove melanoma in a few weeks, I can't wait 😁 I've been advised even by my dentist NOT to venture out without applying lashings of sun cream even if it's raining. Sitting in your own home on a dull day those dastardly rays are commin for you through the window. 👺💀
Hi David.
I don't know if they are related but have had skin cancer problems for many years. Constant Dermatologist appointments and many surgeries to remove Squamous Cell skin cancers. Fortunately, no Melanoma yet.
Keep on keeping on.

No, I had developed skin cancer before I was diagnosed with PD. I visit a dermatologist every six months to remove new pre-cancer starts on my bald head.🤓
My husband has had squamous cell carcinomas removed several times over the past 20 years. I don't know if it is related to his PD or simply that he has very fair skin and has spent a lot of time in the sun in the days we were backpacking and hiking. He sees a dermatologist twice a year and gets a lot of pre-cancerous growths frozen off as well.
The risk has been established but do you know what is about PD which raises the risk?
