Wow, lots of responses. I fall a couple times a month on average. Most are insignificant simple loss of balance issues while trying to negoiate furniture, grandkids toys, the air that's in my way. etc..
About a half dozen times a year. They start out as a simple little fall, but turn into bigger falls with injuries.
I also get the bright Yellow fall risk bracelet everytime I'm in the hospital. I wear them with pride and sometimes ask them to put one on each wrist because I've been known to fall in both directions and sometimes my right and left work independently.

I, on the other hand, constantly wear my socks. I can't live without them. My feet get too cold!

God bless you sweet Susan369. My husband refuses me to even call 911. We have a container with many kinds of medical bandages and medications in case he falls. When he falls his skin rolls back so lots of blood. My niece’s friend is a trauma nurse and had advised me of what to keep on hand. The best item in the container is the open wound product used in the ER and OR. I use CEEPORT Xeroform Petrolatum dressing 4x4.
I clean the wound well and try my best with medical implements to stretch any remaining skin back over his wound then I use a little Polysporin then place the Xeroform dressing over it and smooth it before wrapping gauze or using a sterile gauze pad then wrap with self adhesive bandage. He heals so quickly with the Xeroform dressing. I have purchased a walking stick and a great cane with push button light at the thumb area but he refuses at this time to use them. He is stubborn but we are working on that. Big hugs to you and have a blessed day🙏🏻🥰

Oh my heavenly stars! That’s a good way to pass the time - or not. I’d say I’m healed but my fall was August 2016 and I still have Blackbeard’s chin.
