Both are good exercise. A recumbent bike might be better if you have issues with falling unexpectedly.

I.pedal a cubii
It is an elliptical you sit on a chair and pedal. It is very helpful for my pd and is much smoother to pedal than a bike and has 10 different tension places. I ride for an hour everyday
