I agree with Jack about talking to your Neurologist about the numbness in your feet or those with it in their feet and legs. After having PD for a number of years I began to get numbness & tingling in my little toe on each foot. It gradually went across all of my toes. Sometimes I have pain in them and other times not. Now it has spread to the pads of each foot under my toes. It feels like it is starting on top on my feet from my toes midway on the top. I was told it was Neuropathy. On my first apmt with my new Neurologist he checked for feeling in my ankles and I couldn’t feel it on either ankle. He said “you don’t feel this? And did it again and I said no. I did tell him about the numbness in my toes which had progressed by then under my toes to the balls of my feet. He had a surprised look on his face when I said I couldn’t feel the prick or whatever it was on my ankles. But I did then tell him about my feet. I just asked my husband and he said my Neurologist said it was a form of Neuropathy. I couldn’t remember which doctor told me I had Neuropathy, but Jerry told me he did. It is strange because they are numb but I can still feel it if I nip my toenail too short. I told my Primary Care Doctor who is a Geriatrician and a woman. I said you know how you can dip your hand in a hot wax machine for therapy and it hardens and you sit with it wrapped for a bit. Thats how my numbness feels. Just like I had dipped them in the hot wax and have hardened wax on those areas of my feet. Strange feeling. Well that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!! Hahaha 😂
Be Blessed,
Carol 🥰

My lower legs and feet are numb when I first wake up in the morning. It goes away pretty quickly once I am up and moving around. I also do a little stretching - calves and ankles - before I get out of bed.

I have had numb, lower legs and feet for quite a while even before the PD was diagnosed. Doctor said it was neuropathy. I don't know what it is but it's not fun. Good luck, everyone.
