Non Motor Symptoms
Do you have any of the non- motor symptoms of PD? I’ve come to the conclusion that neurologists are focused on the movement symptoms and pretty much ignore the rest. In fact when I have asked about these symptoms and if they could be attributed to the PD, I routinely got a vague answer something like “well it could be” and that was it. Any of the problems could be something, but taken as a group they sound a lot like Parkinson’s. Your Neurologist should be doing more for you than just giving a vague answer. You need a Parkinson’s specialist. Movement Disorder Specialists have 2.5 years extra training and could at least offer you suggestions on dealing with symptoms.
There are plenty of people here with these symptoms, who will give you the benefit of their experience. You should add some details about you pain.
Any of those symptoms could be associated with the PD. But they could just as easily be their own problem with no connection to the PD that’s why you aren’t getting a yes or no answer.
