I have this issue but very little yet. I went to a nearby drug store and tried different bi- focal glasses and bought two to give me a different Point of View!
Currently I switch these as I am reading giving muscles a chance to relax.

Does this work? Too early to say.

I saw a Neuro opthamologist, a sub-specialty I had never heard of before. You know the cogwheeling which tells the doctor you have PD? Your eyes can do that. That’s what causes the blurred vision from what I understand. So the doctor put me in one pair for reading and a separate pair for distance. It’s made a world of difference because I now can actually read clearly. I was stunned at the difference. But my own doctor couldn’t see the problem, probably because he didn’t have the training as a neurologist. He finally realized my complaints were valid but needed someone else for a diagnosis. There aren’t many of these specialists; the one I saw was at Michigan State University .

Some of these issues are treatable. I have double vision when I try to see in the distance. I wear glasses with a prism in it for driving and watching TV. I use eye drops for dry eyes. I also have reduced night vision. My blurry vision is probably caused by having large floaters in both eyes and the beginning of cataracts. The cataracts can be fixed but not the floaters.

I’m doing better. My distance and reading glasses are 2 pair now and I can read, but depth perception isn’t really treatable. I think as long as I can read, I’ll try dealing with the depth perception. I hope it doesn’t get worse though.
It’s certainly good to hear from you. ❤️

Hi @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member
My husband has Prisim lenses for driving, because he was seeing things double in the distance. I, the PwP, have Prisim lenses for reading. I have to have the glasses on to use the phone, read or type. but I do not need any glasses for long distance. I posted a very good article on visual-side-effects on my blog. I'll put a link in here.
