Medical Marijuana
Here a YouTube video of a medical marijuana webinar I attended:
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member - my backspace key is what I use for dexterity practice. I get a LOT of practice. It also teaches me patience. I find that when I have a bit more of it, I am not frustrated or in danger of going 'off' suddenly (this is more and more a problem). Plus, I don't have to stop and read every word to be certain I didn't leave a misplaced letter...or two...or more...
Some ladies I know with pd who live in Florida which has a medical cannabis program and they said they use it daily. It takes away tremors, helps with nausea and appetite. One said she felt normal again. It helped pain, and anxiety. They were saying it had helped greatly. One of my Dr even recommended that it would be helpful. Alabama has passed the bill but has not set up the clinic yet. But it will be something I will be a part of when it is set up.
I use the backspace key a lot as well, depending on what time of the day or if I’m feeling stressed my hand has a tendency to shake and jerk. I agree that it’s a lesson in patients with myself.
I take 5mg THC at bed. Finally able to fall asleep!
ridiculous backwards thinking to believe that something that gives me an appetite, helps with anxiety and PTSD is bad for me.
