How To Deal With Drop In Blood Pressure Not Related To Getting Up Quickly; What Causes This?

The blood pressure drops significantly at any time. The cardiac medications have been adjusted as much as possible. Is this a symptom of PD? Is there an interaction with Carbo/levo and other medications?

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member - Not sure if whether it was PD-related, but my wife suffered from spiking/plunging blood pressure. We saw a cardiologist who put her on Losartan and Carvedilol and those have leveled her blood pressure while not interfering with her PD meds.

He has appointments with the cardiologist for an echo cardiogram and drug review, with the nuerologist the next day and the orthopedic group the next week. He had been prescribed Tramadole for arthritic pain and that seemed to trigger hallucinations that have not resolved. Also consulted with the pharmacist. So there are many questions regarding his medical management and unfortunately nothing can be definitively taken care of without complicating another set of problems.

Yes I had this for about a month. It's awful. I was told to increase my salt, sleep sittting at a 30'degree incline. If it didn't stop the next step would be elastic stockings (over my dead body) and lastly ANOTHER medication. It just kind of stopped on it's own. Go figure.
