I Get Frequent Dizziness When Moving To A Standing Position And Have Had Quite A Few Falls. I Would Like To Know If This Common. Any Hints?

It's called orthostatic hypotension. It is common in some of the Parkinsonisms or can be caused by your meds. Talk to your doctor about it.

I agree you need to talk to your doctor before you fall and break something. The drop in your blood pressure could be due to medication or something worse. Since you are falling, I would encourage you to talk to your doctor.

Hi Phil. You need to get up slowly. Allows blood pressure to settle.

Low blood pressure. Your body does not adjust correctly due to meds. and/or the parkinsons. Keep record of blood pressures and see your cardiologist to rule out structural heart problems. Sometimes the doctors will prescribe things like midodrine to help regulate your blood pressure higher. They may also suggest compression socks or suggest increasing your sodium intake. All of these things are things to consider and see what works for you.
