How Long Does It Take You To Adjust To The New Medication Or A New Dosage? In The Meantime Do You Feel Symptomatic?
Anytime I hear a doctor talk about tweaking my medication, I cringe. Because I know that it's gonna take a while to adjust and until I do I will be symptomatic. Anybody else have this problem? Sterling
Margie in the beginning taking the extended-release rytary I had nausea I was advised by the pharmacist in dr. To always make sure you do not eat any protein whatsoever Within an hour before and an hour after taking sinemet. If you are nauseous eat saltines nothing else. Hope this helps
It's normal to have nausea with meds it's taken almost 2 years for me but there is something for nausea which my nurse gave me as I had been taking too much time off .its just one of those things you just have to persevere.,unfortunately.
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member, the same thing happens to me too! I had that happen this afternoon. Dizzy, nauseous and very fatigued.
Hi, Sterling, I have the same issues that you do with the changes in medications. It seems that the side effects tend to drag me down and it takes a few weeks to get back to feeling normal.. I am almost at the point of going Natural on my meds just to get away from the side effects. Hang in it is all going to get better real soon.. take care
