Since I Have PD, My Vision Has Changed. Has Anyone Experienced This ?

My sight is all over the place, especially close up. I get fitted for a prescription and it's fine at the opticians but poor at home. I think it's just another thing that follows my currently poorly managed roller coaster symptoms pattern...

Yes. PD affects vision in different ways. It can affect the muscles on the side of the eyes that adjust your focus. Your focus will tend to get worse as he days goes on.

Another way is far more concerning, macular degeneration. This is degeneration of the Macula in the eye, which case lead to blindness.

You should have your eyes checked regularly.

Some of the things people with PD get are associated with the disease. But please don't assume - see a doctor. It could be just that your eyes are aging, or they need different glasses, or they can give meds to help. See a doctor.

Yes! My eyesight has always been bad but it has gotten worse since being diagnosed. I finally had to give up on driving my beloved Mustang. Losing my freedom was hard but better than causing an accident.
