My husband is also using Azilect and according to the pamphlet it helps to keep the dopamine levels more stable and never had any problems since he started using them

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member, greetings. I order a lot of information from the Parkinson's Disease Foundation. Friday I got a brochure on Sleep disorders. What you are describing is called REM Sleep disorder and is well discussed and even the med to help it is given. Go to the PDF.com site on line and you can order many items and all are free. My sleep disorder is that I can't sleep. Some nights no sleep and others 2-3 hours. The full name of the brochure is "Fatique and Sleep Disorder." Hope this helps! Truzie

I have been taking Amantadine 100mg for 5 months now . It is working very well. Sometimes I feel some slight tremors ,but they go away. I go to the gym 5 times a week. In addition I take Clonozepam 0.5 and others. I eat almonds, blackberries, Kale, and a lot of fresh fish and salmon and. vegetables.I also take Celexa. So far, and pray , pray and pray. Listen to music and dance..God bless you all.

I have taken azilect for maybe 8 years, and recently started taking amantadine. The azilect helped a lot with "Key in door" urgency (you put your key in the front door and you suddenly desperately need to Pee) and executive function and the amantadine has helped a lot with my dyskinesia. I sometimes have the feeling that somebody is standing just outside of my field of vision and this may represent hallucinations. This is recent and may be a side effect of the amantadine.
