My experience with amantadine is it is one of the few drugs that EFFECTIVELY controls the severity and timing of MY offs. I take medication 8 times a day and I take 2 amantadine a day but I cut them in half and take them every 4 hours or I will get very tired and get dyskenesia and if you are taking Pramipexole you get will get some edema-like systems if you take the amantadine with the c/l so don't take them together, but for first 5 years thanks to pramipexole and amantadine my symptoms were barely noticeable.

First of all pain is exhausting and if you get dyskenesia it is impossible to focus and dystonia is like a turtle with shoes 3 sizes too big and if you aren't sleeping at night your body has to recover sometime and last but not least I just realized because I went back on Amantadine that it is what made me fall asleep on the way to and from work. So, in other words it should be symptom #2 under tremors. Lol
