Change your diet overall to help avoid reflux. See foods to avoid. Sleep on left side. Elevate head of bed or prop on pillows. Milk is usually not good for reflux as it can create film. It is also a meat / dairy protein which is not so healthy foe many.

My doctor gave me COLACE OR ,.but I also found out I am lactose tolerance, so I gave up milk. Feel better now. Red meat , and sugar messes with the medications also.
