They may also start testing for other Parkinsonisms if you didn't respond at all to the dopamine. Or they may just increase the dose.

My husband has had PD for 12 years. He takes carbadopa-levodopa every 3 hours around the clock at the maximum dosage. He is usually exhausted, has difficulty walking, no tremors. Is there any treatment that would help his quality of life and be affordable?
