My dx was 3 years ago, started switching C/L for macudopa about 5 weeks ago. I was taking two 25/100 C/L three times a day, 5 hours apart. I was feeling more stiff so my neurologist told me to raise my dose. Not wanting to do that Instead I did some studying of macuna pruriens, and decided to give it a try. Im down to 1/2 C/L pill 3 times a day, making up the difference with macudopa capsules. I feel better than I did on the C/L and within a few days will be on macudopa only. I feel much more calm and move a little easier without as much tightness in my muscles and joints, but I did clear it with my neurologist first. I did a lot of reading on macudopa before starting to phase off C/L, but in my case it’s working well. The macudopa I take is pharmaceutical grade, and seems very stable, so there are no surprises.
