I agree with you. I also quit "cold turkey. Twice (how stupid can one get!) "Weaning off" simply doesn't work.
What I do know is that if we acquire a respiratory infection whether it’s viral or bacterial, smoking of any kind can exacerbate the length and symptoms of the infection. Some of these infections can be life threatening.
The best advice is to find a way to stop all smoking.
