My husband’s neurologist said his DAT SCAN showed Lewy Body dementia with Parkinsonism. He made that sound like it was an absolute fact.(2nd general neurologist agreed) Finally got to Movement Disorder Specialist and she said you can’t be diagnosed with a DAT SCAN only and she doubts it’s Lewy Body. It’s a tool . Make sure you’re comfortable and get a Movement Disorder Specialist!
