What To Do About Recurring Constipation?

Hubby uses metamucil daily and I have given him magnesium citrate with water to "jump start" the process. So far, no results in 5 days.

Constipation is common in Parkinson’s disease and can be challenging. Since magnesium citrate hasn’t worked yet, consider increasing dietary fiber (fruits, vegetables, whole grains) and ensuring adequate hydration (6-8 glasses of water daily).
