Additionally, two new drugs, Prasinezumab and UCB0599, are being tested in clinical trials for their potential to slow the progression of Parkinson’s disease. Prasinezumab is administered intravenously every four weeks, and UCB0599 is an oral drug. The clinical trial for UCB0599 is scheduled to be completed in 2024.
