Excited ? šŸ˜²

Do you ever feel like something exciting is about to happen, you don't know what, it's just a feeling. Or don't those things happen any more ?

I will start with ā€œfacing the day with dreadā€ā€¦Never have I and I hope I never will.
There is still beauty and excitement in my life. Please try really hard not to let your thoughts travel the dark road of dread. Yes, I have daily pain and tremors and mobility issues but I am not only that! I am Mary and Mom and Nana and friend. Little things get me excited. A visit with a family member, a message from a friend, the leaves turning brilliant Fall colours. I could list a hundred or more things that get me excited. Parkinsonā€™s is not going to take those things from me! Theyā€™re still there and I intend to get excited about life! Please try.

I wish I could feel like that! Nothing really excites me any more, good or bad. It's all just kind of meh...

There was an absolutely stunning sunset over Puget Sound last night, and it lasted for a long time. Companion commented.ā€ donā€™t you get the feeling that something is about to happen?ā€ hope it is good!

Yesterday our first grandchild was born at 9.57am and weighed 3.795 kilos. OKI so that;s exciting enough but the future is unknown and even more exciting and certain to bring much joy, happiness and yes, sorrow at times. I will not live to see him grow up as I am 81 years old and have Advanced Parkinson's Disease and Dementia. But LIVE FOR THE PRESENT MOMENT. He's here and what joy!!
My wife said she was taken by surprise even though he has been on his way for 40 weeks. However he was born in New York and we live in London so the time difference affected the news. It came through at 15.41 London time but she wasn't expecting it so soon New York time. The world is your oyster although I have no idea what that means or why we say it. :-)
