I was sent for a swallow test at the hospital and they concluded that yes, I had a swallowing problem. The way I fix it, is by dropping my head somy chin is closest to my neck, and swallow again. This sounds like it shouldn't work, but it does, actually. When I'm choking, drinking water never works, or coughing, or repeatedswallowing, unless I drop my head! Advise: Get a swallow test done.

I don’t know about anyone else but this has nothing to do with eating I never choke while eating it just comes out of nowhere and occasionally when drinking water. Never with food in my mouth. Is this what we are talking about. I had speech therapy early on I did big and loud I will ask for a swallow test. But like I said I wouldn’t be as concerned if it was happening while I was eating. I think that would be easier to watch and pay attention too..

It’s not just you and for me it always seems to be air or water. It’s weird but it happens and it’s a bit concerning.
