Anyone Having Trouble Keeping Their Eyes Open? Agnone Tried Botox ?
I have had trouble with keeping my eyes open when my Sinemet goes into the off period. I currently on 2 sinemets every 2 hours which works well if I don’t eat much. I tried Botox but it only helped for a short time as the Botox made my eyes become very dry. My meds don’t work well when I have food in my stomach so I eat very little during the day and eat normally in the evening when I have only 3 hours to bedtime. In the am when I get up I wait 30 to 40 minutes for my eyes to open after taking my medicine
I have the same problem with my eyes. I started using Botox this past March….it definitely helps, but with some issues. It takes about a month for my eyes to calm down after the dosage. I think it’s worth it.
I do have trouble getting my right eye open. I just saw my neurologist who told me the name for that which starts with “a” but I don’t remember it right now. I usually have to use my fingers to open up my eye. I’m currently taking 1 sinemet every 3 hours. (25/100). And am watching my symptoms because the doc thinks I will need more sooner rather than later When I’m tired, my eye will close which makes it embarrassing to be with strangers.
