I seem to be finding all the "everything you know is wrong" articles this week...first the link I posted suggesting too much dopamine, rather than too little could cause Parkinson's.

Now this...an all protein all meat diet can reverse Parkinson's.

I'm skeptical...what does everyone else think?

"A recent study found that people who have been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease often consume much more processed sugars than those without the disease. It has been suggested that carbohydrates and sweets, through insulin, may increase brain dopamine levels as a way to cope with the disease-related dopamine loss."

"Measurement of plasma cortisol in idiopathic PD patients has consistently shown significantly elevated levels compared to age-matched control subjects, and as well correlating with impulsive behaviors (Bellomo et al., 1991; Stypula et al., 1996; Hartmann et al., 1997; Charlett et al., 1998; Djamshidian et al., 2011; "
