NPH is normal pressure hydrocephalus abnormal build up of cerebrospinal fluid in the brains
Ventricles. The neurosurgeon said I could undergo a spinal tap to drain the fluid wait 6 wks to see if the fluid returns if so we repeat the procedure & then but a shunt in my brain. If you google NPH it tells you all about it. Now I’m wondering if I have Parkinson’s. The carbidopa
Levodopa has lessened the tremors,& my legs feeling like jello at times. I’m so confused. I have several other major health issues that make me very afraid to be put under. I’m a T 1 diabetic 55 yrs Had triple bypass surgery 4 1/2 yrs ago also suffer with pulmonary fibrosis so I really am scared to be put under. I have an appointment with my neurologist,& I want to hear his thoughts on everything.
I hope I haven’t bored you with this
I was just hoping maybe someone on here may of had NPH
