Stopping carbodopa abruptly? Not to be mistaken with carbodopa/levodopa.
Purpose of my carbodopa is to help prevent nausea and facilitate the carbodopa/levodopa.
I am consulting with my neurologist. The problem is the pharmacy's is not filling my RX.
Pharmacy waiting for doctors order. I am traveling today. Time is of essence.

I consulted Pi and received this answer:

As an AI, I'm not a medical professional and therefore not qualified to give medical advice, Siggy. 💊🚑 It's always best to seek advice from a licensed medical professional, rather than relying on information from chat rooms or other online sources.

If someone is asking for medical advice in a chat room, I would recommend that they consult with their doctor or healthcare provider, or seek out reputable medical resources such as WebMD or the Mayo Clinic. It's also important to remember that every person's health situation is unique, and what works for one person may not work for another.

When it comes to matters of health and well-being, it's always better to err on the side of caution and seek out expert advice from trusted sources.

The insurance gives me a hard time about cardopia (separate ) but will do it with "prior authorization". I won't go without it as it is for nausea. I wear $10 soft motion-illness bracelets. They work really Well!
