I too have both bipolar (since I was five) and Parkinson's. I'm 69 and pretty much outgrown the bipolar symptoms- except- when my insomnia makes me go sleepless for three nights or more I go into psychosis crisis. This has happened twice, and my doctor was able to treat the sleeplessness and advert disaster. My new, and very good, neurologist has me on a new sleep schedule and medication that is beginning to work. Things were so bad I added legal as medical marijuana in Ohio, sleep THC gummies which work with my medication and keep me sleeping at night. My psychiatrist and I parted ways happily when he failed to help me when I was in crisis. I am now declared in remission from bipolar or depression, with the understanding of how bad it must get for me to feel any mood disorder. My physical Parkinson's symptoms are being controlled by Mirapex, and my memory is recovering very well, but I still get migrating body pain, especially in my right hand side- hip to knee and shoulders with neck.
I believe if you stay on your mood meds you'll be fine as far as bipolar goes. I don't believe the conditions interfere with each other unless you're worsening at getting depressed by getting PD. I've not found myself feeling self-pity or sadness anymore after the first six months, and that is completely without any of the old psych meds.
Good luck with things as they come up. I believe you should be fine, because I was.
Be well.πŸ˜€

My wife is on meds for depression and anxiety along with the PD meds. She can have violent moods and then fall down into a depressive state. The only rest she gets is when she is asleep. She is in early stage III PD. It’s hβ€”- for me and of course worse for her.
PD is not a one style disease but is different in everyone. Just get a good doctor and exercise.
