Good thinking and planning George. The recommendation is to eat 60-90 min before taking the C-L ot to take the med 30 min before eating to allow for max absorption of the med.

Just take one day at a time. Enjoy the good days and the not so good. And remember, God is all knowable and He will take care of us.

Be proactive about your health care which actually applies to every health diagnosis. Whether you feel like it or not, move, Move MOVE. Not only does is help PD, it helps your mood.

Most Dr’s will know less than you over time.

Betty, I have found that since my diagnosis, it is up to me to always be the one to reach out to family and friends. There is something about people’s perception of PD that they think you will immediately progress to the final stages of the disease, when in fact most people tell me that they can’t even tell I have it except for some tremors in my hands. But the great thing about you taking the initiative is that you are in control. My neighbors are the best because they now call and check on me or come sit and have some coffee. My lifelong friends and family are the ones I have to call to keep in touch. When you move Betty, your neighbors will become your close friends! And remember to go outside in the fresh air often because not only will you enjoy that, but they will see you and come over and talk to you! Good luck to you Betty, and I will be praying for you and cheering you on from Texas! ❤️ Vicki
