I know it worked in healing my bruised ribs quickly. I have not tried it yet on my.brain. But this disease is so weird I’ll try anything .

The internet has a lot of info about a variety of alternative or complementary treatment therapies. As you know, there is no cure for PD, yet.
- For the most part, these alternative therapies focus on treating specific PD symptoms. Controlled studies resulting in valid data on these therapies are very limited. Despite that, there is anecdotal data about the various therapies and the effectiveness, side effects and longevity of impact.
- There are also a number of books available for purchase describing natural therapies for treatment of PD symptoms. One is written by Robert Rodgers, PhD that you might find interesting.
- Several months ago I posted a list of ways to manage PD symptoms on this site that helped me manage my PD symptoms and prevent the increase of prescription meds. It might still be visible. In part, I took one symptom at a time and documented non-harmful ways to reduce the symptom. For example, a weighted blanket eliminated restless leg movement and improved the quality of my sleep.
Over the counter Mg helped reduce constipation.
Moving to a brain healthy diet reduced the time I spent with brain fog.
The list goes on so I would say pursuing info about these methods can be very productive. Just be sure you follow warnings about the interaction these alternative therapies might have your prescription meds so discuss it with your doc first.
Also, please consider starting a journal to track the changes you introduce and the changes in your mind, body, emotions, sleep, energy level, etc so you can develop a safe and effective routine to help yourself manage PD along with your medical team.
I'm sure you know that the effectiveness of C-L is impacted by the protein in your diet. Nutrition, emotions and sleep all impact PD so don't forget the basics while pursuing alternatives.
Hope this was helpful,
Maria
