What Is The Mechanism Which Makes My Husband Need To Spit Out Long Gluey Globs Of Mucus?
This happens pretty much each time he eats or drinks anything. Is there anything I can do to minimize that symptom?
Thanks. I wish you both a loving and good conclusion.
He says it is his sinus draining. I have suggested some things for him to try, sinus rinse, etc. But he is not to receptive about them. Que Cera Cera. I still love him more each day, and I'm sure there's things I do that irritate him just as much. Hope your situation can improve, take care of each other!
Linda, Does Jim need thickening of all liquids as my husband does? Currently heās using āSimply Thickā to avoid aspirating fluids into his lungs, and I wonder if that might be the cause of the goop. Joan
Well, maybe youād feel better if you knew that I am the one who has to do the de-goopifying! :-) Does he need thickener in his fluids? Iām thinking that may be the cause of the problem. Joan.
I don't know the answer, but my hubby has the same problem and it is the one thing I have the most trouble witnessing as he does it at the table while I am still eating. š
