I did a Google search for "how long does CBD last in the body" and got this;

"CBD can stay in a person's system from hours to about a month. This depends on how much a person takes and how they take it. The half-life of CBD in the body can range from about 1 hour to up to 5 days ."

From the answer it would seem that more than a day is nothing unusual.

I think it all depends on the individual and if it was the first time you took them. Your system may have to acclimate. Some of us are also more sensitive to medications than others.

When I am in pain I take them rather than the pain medication that my pain doctor prescribed. It doesn’t take all the pain away but it does give me some relief. I rather take this than the Percocet he was prescribing. He is the one who suggested the gummies. I guess he got tired of my complaints,
Maybe your gummies are just too strong.
