Have You Experienced Any Gum Issues Since Your PD Diagnosis?

A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question đź’
Santa Ana, CA

I'm just curious because for the last several months I've been to my dentist 4 times. My gums are swollen and they bleed when I brush my teeth. My dentist has me do a thorough rinsing with peroxide and water twice a day. It just stays the same.

I did, years before. Same description, but probably not related in my case anyway.

There are many relationships with Parkinson’s and teeth:

Since my wife's diagnosis in 14 she has experienced occasional gum swellings but no bleeding.
