for me, i held off medicine until symptoms started interfering with my safety. falling, balance

When the symptoms interfere with your life. The meds only treat the symptoms, they don't cure anything. They don't slow down progression. (Exercise slows progression.) All meds have side effects. If you are able to live your life pretty normally, then wait to start. If a tremor or dystonia makes it hard to do your job, if the stiffness is painful, or if you are falling, then it is time to take meds.

Taking CL was what convince my neurologist. Since then I am doing better.

I started immediately I myself was walking slow and had a slight tremor on my left arm. I started taking three pills a day and Now i take four.
