I Just Wonder About Driving And Parkinson's Desease. When Can I No Longer Drive?

You can no longer drive when you do dangerous things. I was driving through red lights, and drifting out of my lane. It was an easy decision.

They say everyones symtoms and disease progression are not the same. I hope mine will be slow.

Thank you. Not being able to drive is for me a big worry. But if it unsafe for me to do I will have no choice but to quit.

My husband's neurologist stopped his driving about4-6 mos. after diagnosis. He has shown great improvement, less tremors, stopped falling and Thank God said goodbye to delusions and tactile hallucinations. Taking Rivagistine(sic) carbadopa/levadopa and Nuplacid. Most important Pray, Pray, Pray! Waiting for the day he can drive again.Hope is a wonderful thing.We'll see.
