Hi, Everyone. Has Anyone Had Positive Results From Taking A B12 Supplement! Lately I’ve Seen It Suggested For PD. Thanks!
I take a b12 supplement, because my levels were way down when I had my blood done. The doctor explained that Parkinson’s
Either took B12 out of our system or inhibited the absorption. What they know for sure is that it was low. The same thing applies to D3. The supplements brought my levels to normal.
Confronting and dealing with the diagnosis of PD is all anyone can be expected to handle, whether you are the one who will have to own it or a loved one/partner/care giver. The redesign of your future is now a challenge you didn't plan on and taking one day at a time is most important. It may feel like you're alone but you are not.
I was 1st severely iron defificient and very anemic. IRON INFUSIONS helped a bit.
Then next visit, I barely had any B12 or D3... I started taking VivaNaturals Gummies (B12 + D3) and in 1 month, am high in these vitamins and avoided needing the shots. This helped even more!
Then, my Speech Therapist said the more stressed that I am, the worse my Parkinson's symptoms seem.... well, I had thought that too.
So I started meditating daily, plus everytime when my hands tremors got bad.... I have virtually no tremors anymore!
When they start, I close my eyes, rest my head, relax my myscles, and talk softly to myself to basically have no worries about anything.
Now this stops my tremors within 10 min, and they don't return until I let something bother me. This has also turned my life around for the best in so many ways!
I realized that we weren't put here on Earth to torture ourselves with worry and stress ON TOP OF what this crazy world throws our way.
Have a blessed day everyone!

I take Vitamin D3, Centrum Silver, and just recently started taking Vitamin B12. Prior to this I was chronically fatigued and now have a lot more energy. It doesn't help with the tremors but the increased energy levels are impressive. I take 5000mcg.
I've been doing a lot of reading about B vitamins and also the necessity of D3 and I've come up with a mixture that I showed my PD doctor who seemed impressed with and am looking forward to seeing if I feel any near and long term effects. I'm currently on Carbidioa/Levodopa 50mg 200 & 25 mg 100. I'm taking a Vitamin B complex 2X/day which includes B1, Vitamin B 12 (liquid under my tongue) 1X/day, Calcium/Magnesium/Potassium 1X/day and Vitamin D3 5000 IU 125 mcg 1 tab/day. I found the most interesting information about B1 and PD. Am looking forward to any and all results that these may make and will share with some POSITIVE POSTS!
